"drawbacks"? Hmmm, I would say "advantages" and less round trips. Unfortunately this isn't really true: the NextJS SSR stuff is not really SSR. NextJS is not able to separate CSR from SSR code correctly (even not for well-known /API functions like getServerSideProps()) and makes very poor decision, which in turn makes this kind of implementation absolutely useless for real world applications. E.g. why do returned props need to be serializable if the component gets SSR? Or why break 'import server-only' functions builds, even if they are used in the mentioned SSR-functions, only? IMHO the NextJS SSR stuff is a total mess and should be clearly avoided just because of this.

Hello, I'm enjoying this course in 2024, to refresh the knowledge I got from Codecademy. I notice that in React 18.3.1 the create-react-app example has App.js as a functional component rather than a class component, and I don't remember learning about class components on Codecademy. Are functional components to be preferred these days?

Can we have RTK-Query Included in this course. Additionally , Can you create a Project with combination of MUI+Redux-toolkit+rtk-query ?

Can we call these endpoints from either both server or client components? Seems like that's just another way to create a Rest API without having to create a separate server project altogether

Sir, If I redirect the login page from another app and use a router.back() after login it redirects to that app but it should redirect to the homepage of our app. How can I fix this?

If you guys are running into issues running the server just do "npm i" or "npm install" your node_modules probably wasnt installed with the app
